Fantastic local history museum with plenty to look at. Knowledgeable friendly staff and all volunteers. The site was resurrected 5 years ago from overgrown thicket and woodland and is a long term project. Old huts have and are being refurbished. Also new buildings and toilet blocks are being built. Credit has to be given to these hard working volunteers for the countless hours they have spent working on this long term project. We visited the site with the HDRCGB motorcycle club, and we all enjoyed looking around the exhibits and talking to the ladies and gents volunteers. We shall be returning in force next time for an organised tour and bacon butties from the onsite cafe.

The progress this small and dedicated group of volunteers have achieved in such a short time is truly inspiring to experience. A safe and welcoming environment in which young and old can learn and enjoy, whilst honouring those in our history who gave us the freedom to do so.

We visited North Lincs Aviation Heritage Centre on Saturday with 4 friends. The Centre was very well laid out. Lots of old army vehicles to look at. The volunteers who helped create this Centre have done a really good job. There are lots of features to check out. The Centre has a refreshment area. All the volunteers we spoke to were friendly and very knowledgeable. We'll done we spent about 3hrs there with refreshments.

It's amazing what a dedicated team of volunteers can achieve. We went to their first open day yesterday and it was wonderful. Easy to find easy access and lots to see and do.
